Returning to school
You may be aware that on 11th May, the Government set out guidance for a possible return to school on 1st June for Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 pupils, if it is deemed to be safe to do so.
We would like to reassure all parents and carers that the health and wellbeing of your daughter or son is our top priority. Having assessed the risks thoroughly and working in line with Government, local authority and union guidance and consulting with staff and governors, we have decided that we will begin a phased return from Thursday 11th of June for Year 1 pupils, other identified year groups will follow. We will write to give details as and when your child is to return to school, this will include the measures in place to keep them safe.
We appreciate this is an anxious time for everyone, please be assured our move toward a wider opening is being done cautiously and carefully. We look forward very much to welcoming your child back to school and please if you have any concerns, do get in touch.

Free School Meal Vouchers
We are working hard to ensure we get supermarket vouchers out either by email or post as soon as possible – we are really sorry for any delay which has been caused by the national system being over loaded. You will receive your vouchers more quickly if you are able to supply your child’s school with an email address. Thank you in the meantime for your understanding.

Dear Parents and Carers,
It’s really important that your son or daughter continues with their learning while schools are closed. To support them, we have launched an online Learning Hub full of lessons, activities and interesting content to keep them going while we’re staying safe at home. There is lots of help and support available to pupils and their families as we understand this is a new way of learning (and teaching!). If you need any assistance please use the purple button at the bottom right of the website and someone will be in touch.
Our learning hub cannot replace school, and we do not expect our children’s homes to become classrooms and parents to become teachers – but it would help a great deal if you could encourage and support as much as possible. This way, our working in partnership will mean it is easier for your daughter or son to get back into school when it is safe to do so.
