On behalf of the whole school community, we welcome you to Westgate Hill Primary Academy in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
We are a vibrant, inclusive, family-orientated school with a strong community ethos. Our entire team has worked incredibly hard to achieve our Outstanding Ofsted judgement in October 2021. We are so proud to be Heads of School at this caring community of learners with a fantastic staff team, dedicated governors, supportive parents and happy, engaged children.
We have high aspirations for our children at Westgate Hill, and we are very fortunate to be part of the Laidlaw Schools Trust. This partnership offers us tremendous opportunities to enrich our curriculum and share learning expertise and opportunities within a strong family of schools. We value our staff, and their well-being is paramount. Each member of our team is highly dedicated. They always go the extra mile to ensure that every child is valued, inspired, engaged, and safe. Our bespoke curriculum is language-rich, aimed at mastering the basics we need for life in reading, writing, and maths, and developing our knowledge and curiosity about the world.
