Nursery Teacher

Amy Melvin

Amy has been an integral part of our nursery team for four years, initially starting as a teaching assistant before embarking on her journey in the Early Career Teacher (ECT) training programme. Her passion lies in witnessing the growth and development of children from their very first days in nursery. Amy takes pride in teaching not only academic skills but also life and social skills, particularly relishing the challenge of supporting children with English as an Additional Language (EAL).

"I take great joy in witnessing the transformation of children as they enter our nursery, observing their growth and development throughout their time with us. It's incredibly rewarding to impart not only academic knowledge but also essential life and social skills, fostering connections with both peers and adults. I love supporting children with English as an Additional Language, guiding them from initial language barriers to confidently engaging in conversations."

Tabitha Trafford

Tabitha brings a wealth of experience to our nursery, having joined us in January 2024 after previously teaching reception classes. With qualifications in primary education for ages 3-7 earned in 2013, she has devoted herself to early years and key stage one education. Tabitha adores the school environment and finds immense joy in introducing young learners to the wonders of school life.
