Outdoor Area

Children can access a large well-resourced play area, including a pirate ship, outdoor kitchen and undercover sandpit.

Digital Learning

Learning is enhanced through the use of digital devices, such as iPads.

Forest School

Taking part in our Forest School builds confidence and good communication. The children love to build fires and eat marshmallows together in our natural woodland. We also grow vegetables in our raised beds.

Literacy

Our children enjoy our daily song and story sessions. At Westgate Hill we love reading and encourage even our youngest children to enjoy books too.

Speech

We focus on developing communication skills and literacy. Our own Speech and Communication Therapist and exceptional teaching staff focus on developing children's communication and literacy skills.

Singing Lessons 

Our children enjoy weekly singing lessons from external professionals.

Exceptional Indoor and Outdoor Areas 

Our large Early Years setting has 2 safely enclosed indoor and outdoor classrooms. The outdoor areas are separate from our main school site.

Tapestry

Parents can access Tapestry free of charge. Tapestry is an online journal where parents can contact teachers, upload photos from home and engage with their child's development and learning at Westgate Hill.

Free Breakfast Club

Once children are 5 years old, they can access our Breakfast Club. Hot and cold breakfasts are provided free of charge by Greggs.
