Choosing a school for your child is exciting but it can seem a little daunting too. We hope that you find all the information you need on this site. If not, please get in touch so that we can help to answer your questions.

All schools publish the guidelines that they follow when offering places to children. Our Admissions Policy below explains how decisions about admissions will be made fairly.
The application process depends on how old your child will be on the birthday that falls within the school year. The school year, or academic year, runs from 1st September to 31st August.
Nursery. If your child will become 3 or 4 years old during the school year, you can apply for them to join our Nursery. Applications to the Nursery are made directly to the school and you can apply by contacting us. [Link to contact us]
Reception and years 1-6. Your child is entitled to a full time school place from the September following their fourth birthday and you can apply for them to join the academy in Reception.
If your child becomes any age between 6 and 11 during the school year, you can apply for them to come into their year group within Westgate Hill Primary Academy.
Places in Reception classes and years 1-6 can be applied for online at Schools learning and Childcare Apply School Place. Alternatively, please contact the school directly and we will be able to help you further.
